About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assemble fixtures and mount electronic components
- Install electronic components into larger assemblies or casings
- Install electrical wiring properly
- Test and troubleshoot equipment before it is put into or returned to service
- Assemble components, subassemblies, and products by hand or with small tools
- Perform manual tool operations
- Follow security rules, safety policies, instructions, and quality guidelines
- Complete work accurately with attention to detail
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma/GED
- Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment with specialized configurations
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
- Good communication skills
- Ability to prioritize
- Fast and self-initiating learning
- Ability to perform basic mathematics
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Some electronic experience preferred
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed preferred
- Ability to read and understand English preferred
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, crimps, wire strippers, screws, bolts, rivets, press fits, or similar tools
- Ability to follow security rules, safety policies, instructions, and quality guidelines
