About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of robust DevOps practices using Azure technologies
- Assist in developing automated build and test infrastructure focused on scalability, performance, and reliability
- Improve and streamline development and deployment workflows for software development and SQA teams
- Continuously improve deployment processes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features and releases smoothly
- Develop and maintain documentation for deployment processes and procedures
- Support decisions on releasing software to the public
- Coordinate with the broader release team
- Support the Q-SYS platform, including Q-SYS Reflect Enterprise Manager, a remote monitoring and management web platform using AI technologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Excellent scripting skills in Groovy, JavaScript, Python and Linux shell script
- Automation-focused DevOps perspective
- Background in Linux software development workflow and tools
- Background in Linux administration and application deployment
- Strong background in Azure cloud platform
- Excellent knowledge in Azure DevOps
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
- Experience with Bicep/Terraform; Bicep preferred
- Experience with Ansible, Puppet, and Chef
- Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket or other git-based tools
- Experience in Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, or other monitoring/logging tools
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment of a microservice-based enterprise cloud application
- Experience integrating security tools in pipelines for SAST, SCA, and DAST is preferred
