About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in the two-year rotational BUILD program
  • Rotate to a different functional area every six months
  • Rotate through New Product Development and Sustaining/VAVE
  • Potentially rotate through Optical Engineering, Light Engine Engineering, Outsourced Product Development, Product Support, Product Management, Project Management, Tech Support, Field Service, Post Sales, Labs & Certifications
  • Build business acumen, functional expertise, and technical skills through hands-on experience
  • Collaborate with program peers on business processes and initiatives
  • Share rotational learnings in leadership report-out meetings
  • Participate in performance reviews and personal growth activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Electrical Engineering or Electrical is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Intermediate general proficiency with AI tools
  • Demonstrated exposure to electronic component selection, circuit analysis, and SPICE simulation
  • Exposure to Altium Designer or other CAD tools
  • Exposure to developing products for the lighting and/or LED industry
  • Exposure to firmware development or embedded systems programming
  • Availability to travel based on business needs, up to 20%
  • Leadership experience influencing change, people, and processes is highly preferred
  • Team-oriented with a drive to take the initiative is highly preferred
  • Less than two years of related work experience is highly preferred
