About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, including printing, inspection, soldering, coating, and laser machines
Safely set up machines for proper speeds, feeds, and depth of cut
Set up SMT machines, including Screen Print, SPI, AOI, Reflow Oven, Wave Solder, Hand Solder, PVA coating, and Laser Etch machines
Set up and change over complex tooling
Adjust machine programs for placement machines and SMT inspection equipment
Perform minor machine repairs to keep production lines running
Work with engineers to identify root causes of problems or interruptions
Perform general Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM)
Read and understand blueprints, specification process sheets, schedules, and related materials
Maintain accurate records
Maintain 5S standards in the work area

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma/GED
Use applicable measuring instruments and special gauges
Accurately maintain necessary records
Must complete internal applications and pass interview
Acquire Material Handler license through required test and training
Acquire Crane Operator License through required testing and training
Read and understand blueprints, specification process sheets, schedules and related materials
Safely set up machines for proper speeds, feeds and depth of cut
Experience or ability to set up SMT machines, including Screen Print, SPI, AOI, Reflow Oven, Wave Solder, Hand Solder, PVA coating, and Laser Etch machines
Ability to set up and change over complex tooling
Ability to adjust machine programs using computer programming logic
Ability to perform minor machine repair and preventive maintenance
Ability to use measuring instruments and special gauges
