About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze material requirements for the next three months and identify potential supply risks
Monitor purchase orders and supplier promised delivery dates
Convert Planning requisitions into purchase orders
Communicate purchase orders and required delivery dates to suppliers
Follow up on shipments, including cross-border shipments, through receipt at the plant
Execute Planning requests such as pull-ins, push-outs, and cancellations
Communicate results and changes to Planning
Identify and resolve materials held in receiving or quarantine
Follow up on and resolve invoice holds
Communicate parameter updates to Sourcing, including price, lead time, MOQ, and standard pack
Execute Engineering-approved material deviations when supply issues occur
Manage phase-in and phase-out material processes
Communicate demand expectations to suppliers
Execute Return to Supplier processes according to RMA instructions
Execute split purchases according to Sourcing guidelines
Conduct open market research
Analyze purchase price variance and execute actions according to Sourcing approvals
Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchase order information in the system
Escalate supplier issues to Operations and Tactical Sourcing
Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree / Completed degree
Previous experience in Purchasing/Procurement
Advanced English
Intermediate Excel skills
Knowledge of Kanban
Knowledge of MRP
Supply Chain knowledge
Logistics knowledge
Import/Export knowledge
Ability to use and interpret data to determine purchasing needs and support inventory management activities
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong sense of ownership
Ability to prioritize multiple activities simultaneously
High attention to detail
Accuracy in maintaining information in systems
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain supplier relationships
