About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in Acuity Inc.'s two-year rotational BUILD Leadership Program
  • Rotate to a different functional area every six months
  • Work on projects alongside experienced colleagues
  • Explore HR Business Partners, Employee/Labor Relations, Talent/Total Rewards, and HR Operations/Analytics
  • Build business acumen, functional expertise, and professional skills
  • Participate in specialized onboarding, mentorship, social and networking events, peer collaboration, and leadership report-out meetings
  • Contribute to business objectives while developing technical and professional skills

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Master's in Human Resources, Industrial & Labor Relations, or Organizational Behavior
  • Foundational HR knowledge, sound judgment, discretion, and business acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Availability to travel based on business needs (up to 20%)
  • Analytical mindset, including Excel and reporting
  • Skill with AI-enabled tools highly preferred
  • Leadership experience influencing change, people, and processes highly preferred
  • Team-oriented with a drive to take the initiative highly preferred
  • Less than two years of related work experience highly preferred
