About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in Acuity Inc.'s two-year rotational BUILD program
  • Rotate to a different functional area every six months
  • Develop business acumen, functional expertise, and professional skills through hands-on experience
  • Rotate through Human Resources areas including HR Business Partners, Employee/Labor Relations, Talent/Total Rewards, and HR Operations/Analytics
  • Work on projects alongside experienced colleagues
  • Combine individual interests with current company objectives to support rotation projects
  • Participate in specialized onboarding, mentorship, networking, peer collaboration, leadership report-outs, and performance reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's in Human Resources, Industrial & Labor Relations, or Organizational Behavior
  • Foundational HR knowledge
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and business acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Analytical mindset, including Excel and reporting
  • Skill with AI-enabled tools highly preferred
  • Availability to travel based on business needs, up to 20%
  • Leadership experience influencing change, people, and processes highly preferred
  • Team-oriented with a drive to take initiative highly preferred
  • Less than two years of related work experience highly preferred
  • Willingness to learn, take on new challenges, take ownership, collaborate, seek feedback, continuously improve, and embrace technology
