About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in Acuity Inc.’s two-year BUILD rotational program
- Rotate to a different functional area every six months
- Develop business acumen, functional expertise, and professional skills through hands-on experience
- Work on Supply Chain Distribution projects alongside experienced colleagues
- Rotate through Distribution Planning, BSF Engineering & Continuous Improvement, and Focused Factory
- Potentially gain exposure to Trade Compliance Operations, Customer Experience, and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
- Support projects determined by business needs, individual interests, and company objectives
- Attend specialized onboarding, mentorship, social and networking events, peer collaboration opportunities, and leadership report-out meetings
- Share rotational learnings and participate in performance reviews
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Demonstrated interest in process improvement, continuous improvement, or operational excellence; related coursework, projects, or internship experience is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to evaluate operational data, identify root causes, and recommend practical improvements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
- Leadership experience influencing change, people, and processes is highly preferred
- Collaborative and team-oriented with a drive to take the initiative is highly preferred
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required
- Availability to travel based on business needs, up to 20%, is required
- Less than two years of related work experience is highly preferred
- Early-career interest and willingness to learn, take on challenges, seek feedback, embrace technology, and build a long-term career at Acuity
