About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide operational leadership and functional oversight for the Remote and Robotics Inspection service line
- Partner with Regional Managers and operational leaders to improve consistency, efficiency, and execution of service delivery across regions
- Develop, maintain, and deploy standardized service delivery procedures, tools, and best practices
- Provide subject-matter expertise on planning, execution, staffing models, and technical approaches
- Engage in service line business development to drive growth and increase market capture
- Implement and enhance service lines through innovative technologies and solutions
- Manage financial and operational performance, including labor, equipment, expenditures, and resource utilization
- Establish and monitor service line metrics against Segment and Regional targets
- Lead, mentor, supervise, and develop service line staff and subject matter experts
- Communicate alignment with Acuren’s vision, goals, opportunities, and challenges
- Support recruitment, onboarding, development, and integration of service line personnel
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Travel to company locations, client sites, and offsite meetings within the assigned area
- Address emergent matters or project deadlines beyond normal business hours
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced project management skills, particularly with inspection and/or industrial services
- Development of new market offerings
- Thorough and current understanding of the technical environment
- Entrepreneurial flare with the ability to leverage experience to build a successful enterprise
- Customer and commercial management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills to develop solutions that deliver integrated and long lasting results
- Commitment to support understanding and compliance with responsibilities under Acuren’s Safety and Quality Management Systems, policies and procedures
- Post-secondary degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of operational and technical experience
- Minimum of 10–15 years of related industrial experience, including 8–10 years in an operational and/or commercial leadership role
- Ability to work in office and field/job site environments
- Willingness to travel regularly, including last minute and overnight travel
- Ability to adhere to site safety requirements and properly use PPE
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to lift office materials, files, or supplies weighing up to 20 pounds
- Ability to concentrate on detailed tasks for extended periods
- Must maintain discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information
