About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Generate new sales opportunities in the region
  • Manage all sales and marketing activities within the responsible service line
  • Assist in sales and marketing to advance the entire organization

  • Create and close new business opportunities
  • Grow revenues within the automotive, aerospace, and heavy industrial vertical market throughout the US
  • Manage and execute selling and growth objectives
  • Lead sales and business development activities aligned with regional strategies
  • Uphold Acuren’s standards for ethics, integrity, safety, quality, and corporate responsibility
  • Ensure clients receive quality services in a timely manner
  • Ensure contracts contain appropriate terms and conditions and negotiate changes as required
  • Lead service-line expansion and new-client development initiatives
  • Develop and execute client opportunities
  • Create location-specific operating and growth plans and manage the active pipeline
  • Prepare winning bids
  • Support major account management, develop new client opportunities, and address client concerns

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 years experience in Pulp and Paper, Power Generation, and Automotive
  • Experience in heavy industrial casting markets would be considered an asset
  • Experience in sales, marketing and business development with a technical service or product organization
  • Prior knowledge and experience with an organization focused on large industrial clients and technical marketing
  • Strong track record with one or more leading global businesses serving as a business partner to a senior management team in a fast-paced, high growth environment
  • Demonstrated success in technical, solutions-oriented sales directed to engineering and operating managers in large industrial companies
  • Experience with sales methodologies dedicated to a wide range of customers from enterprise level through small and medium businesses
  • Experience managing effective utilization of CRM or related sales systems
  • Evidence of a "hands-on" leadership orientation in a work setting that is strongly performance oriented
  • Appropriate self-confidence and maturity, strong presentation and influencing skills, and ability to communicate at all levels and across organizational lines
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results driven, team oriented environment
  • Ability to travel ~70% of the time
  • A technical undergraduate degree is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs with strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
