About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain systems, libraries, and components using Java, Scala, Spark, and other technologies
Fulfill enhancement requests from the product team
Remediate identified code and dependency chain vulnerabilities
Maintain systems compliance
Facilitate systems privacy and security reviews
Work closely with stakeholders using an agile development methodology
Resolve functional or performance deficiencies
Provide formal and informal mentorship to junior engineers
Participate in peer code reviews and approvals
Ensure high-quality coding practices are followed
Develop highly performant, cost-efficient, secure, scalable cloud components for Acxiom's data products

Requirements

What you’ll need

College degree and 5+ years of experience or equivalent work experience
Experience building reusable libraries including interface definition
Proven Object-Oriented Programming principles
Experience developing in leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience building Java/Scala based Spark internal components
Pipeline/workflow orchestration
Experience developing following Agile methodologies
Build/DevOps experience with Jenkins, Git, Jira, and Terraform
Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake application development
Experience integrating into 3rd party platforms
Spring or Python experience
AWS Associate / Professional Certification (or GCP equivalent)
Generative AI experience
