About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and build virtual networks, routing concepts, firewalls, and secure connections between data centers, customers, partners, and cloud platforms
Work with platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, and hybrid environments
Define architectural requirements, security policies, and technical standards, and ensure compliance
Develop concepts for network segmentation, encryption, access controls, and secure cloud connectivity
Assess new technologies in terms of their risks
Coordinate internal stakeholders, DevOps teams, and external service providers
Ensure a shared understanding of architectural and security requirements
Contribute to customer projects involving Technical FinOps, cloud governance, architecture, Kubernetes, migration strategies, and AI platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive professional experience as a Cloud Architect with a focus on Google Cloud Platform and networking, or another public cloud platform
In-depth understanding of cloud and DevOps structures
Strong communication skills across business functions and cloud teams
Ability to translate requirements into robust, viable architecture concepts
Experience with modern AI technologies, including GenAI, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and OpenWebUI
Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for technical efficiency
Fluent in German and English
