About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive the architecture of next-generation validation guardrails and an AI-native developer experience
- Architect engineering workflows across Planning, Design, Build, Test, Deploy, and Maintain into automated closed-loop systems
- Lead the design of intelligent frameworks, AI SDLC playbooks, and deterministic guardrails
- Drive bottom-up adoption of AI-native development workflows by coaching engineers on orchestration of parallel agentic sessions and subagents
- Partner with platform engineers, R&D teams, and security to replace manual handoffs and sign-off cycles with automated artifact triggers and governance boundaries
- Operationalize markdown-driven artifact pipelines with transparent audit trails from idea to production
- Architect deterministic build-time and deployment hooks as safety boundaries for AI development
- Integrate AI into pull-request review using structured policies and CI runners for multi-pass reviews and autonomous comment-thread resolution
- Design verification harnesses and visual feedback loops for AI-agent self-testing and correctness verification
- Build continuous evaluation suites in CI to regression-test AI steering configurations against real engineering tasks
- Implement production monitoring scripts to detect control breaches and create triage queues for closed-loop improvement
- Mentor developers and lead grassroots technical initiatives across engineering teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future visa sponsorship
- Must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on the first day of employment
- Deep conceptual and hands-on understanding of integrating AI into the development lifecycle across the entire SDLC
- Demonstrated success moving DORA metrics and framework reliability using explicit data analysis
- Ability to thrive in highly ambiguous environments and proactively identify and solve friction
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Deep hands-on experience with advanced CI/CD orchestration such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
- Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
- [Preferred] Experience managing complex software states and mimicking/isolating environments utilizing tools at enterprise scale
- [Preferred] Past experience building custom internal wrapper applications or developer plugins around Large Language Models (LLMs)
- [Preferred] Proven success technically leading or closely pairing across split North American and Indian engineering hubs
- [Preferred] Familiarity with service integration testing, contract testing tools, and developer catalog platforms such as Backstage
