Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a Senior Java Back-End Consultant
Work with Xstore, a platform supporting multiple platforms and devices
Support retail processes, including sales, exchanges, returns, cash register operations, promotions, discounts, Gift Cards, and omnichannel operations
Work on integrations between physical stores and digital channels, including in-store pickup and e-commerce orders
Configure workflows in XML
Develop and maintain integrations through REST/SOAP APIs and Web Services
Provide support for Linux and Windows environments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Knowledge of key processes related to retail operations: product sales and registration; exchanges and returns; opening and closing cash registers; promotions, discounts, and business rules; Gift Cards; omnichannel operations
Knowledge of Java, the primary language used by Xstore
Knowledge of XML and workflow configuration
Knowledge of SQL (Oracle Database)
Knowledge of Web Services (REST/SOAP)
Experience with or knowledge of API-based integrations
Knowledge of version control (Git)
Knowledge of Linux and Windows for environment support
Knowledge of Oracle Retail Xstore Office (XOCS) is desirable
Knowledge of Oracle Retail Integration Cloud Services is desirable
