About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the highest level of uptime and Quality of Service for Adobe customers
- Help define service level objectives and service level indicators
- Embed with product teams to develop close collaboration and partnership
- Improve service resiliency through performance/load testing, code review, and Chaos engineering
- Support and maintain globally distributed multi-cloud environments, including AWS and Azure
- Automate repeatable tasks at scale to reduce toil
- Apply AI/ML and generative-AI techniques to reliability engineering, including anomaly detection, predictive alerting, automated root-cause analysis, and log/metric correlation
- Build AI-enabled automation and agents to reduce toil and accelerate incident response
- Solve performance and stability issues using a wide variety of tools
- Participate in an on-call rotation as required
- Determine root causes for production incidents and write high-quality RCA reports
- Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across teams
- Serve as a technical lead on reliability initiatives when needed
- Promote the DevOps/SRE mentality
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience; higher degree preferred
- 5-7 years of experience in SRE or related field
- Deep understanding of software engineering and technical operations
- Expertise with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS) and Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK)
- DevOps skills including scrum, Kanban, agile, CI/CD, and 12-factor practices
- Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, Jenkins, Git, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, Linux, DNS, email, containers, log analysis, monitoring, Java, Apache, Tomcat, Memcached, Qpid, and MySQL on Linux
- Programming skills, particularly Python, Java, Ruby, and scripting languages
- Hands-on AIOps experience applying machine learning to observability, alerting, and automated remediation
- Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude and Claude Code, and building AI agents for operational workflows
- Effective prompting techniques and responsible use of AI-assisted development tools
- Understanding of operating, observing, and scaling AI/ML workloads, including GPU infrastructure and model-serving/inference monitoring, in production
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, NewRelic, Splunk, and other logging solutions
- Familiarity with cloud and automation concepts, practices, and procedures
- Must be able to support a FedRAMP Moderate environment
- U.S. Citizenship or Green Card (Permanent Resident) required
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
