About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop end-to-end features across the full stack, from Ruby on Rails API design to React user interface implementation
  • Ensure seamless user experiences
  • Collaborate with the Product team to understand requirements, propose solutions, and iterate on feedback
  • Work closely with data engineers and data scientists
  • Optimize application code for performance and maintainability
  • Improve architecture, design, and development workflows
  • Participate in technical design workshops
  • Own features autonomously from design through production

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar
  • Ability to craft effective prompts and leverage AI tools while maintaining code quality
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining Ruby on Rails applications and RESTful APIs, including Grape
  • Experience with clean architecture, scalable patterns, performance optimization, RSpec, code reviews, continuous integration, and technical documentation
  • Experience developing React interfaces with TypeScript and JSX
  • Experience with state management such as Redux or Zustand
  • Proficiency with Tailwind CSS and component libraries such as shadcn/ui
  • Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress
  • Strong SQL skills and complex analytical queries
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL environments, including MySQL and MongoDB/Mongoid
  • Experience with Redis and Elasticache
  • Experience with GitHub, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, testing, linting, and structured review processes
  • Experience with AWS and scalable cloud environments
  • 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails and React with TypeScript
  • Experience with REST APIs and distributed systems
  • Strong communication skills and attention to user experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Based in the CET/CEST timezone ±2 hours
