About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage webinars from scheduling and promotion through live execution, follow-up, and post-event content
  • Coordinate conference and event logistics, timelines, vendors, collateral, shipping, lead capture, and follow-up
  • Draft, build, quality check, and schedule email campaigns and client-facing communications
  • Maintain email calendars, audience lists, segments, campaign records, and marketing automation workflows
  • Create and coordinate social posts, event promotions, newsletter content, email copy, and other campaign content
  • Partner with the staff writer and video team to develop and optimize content using SEO, GEO, and AEO best practices
  • Work across Creative, Video, Web, and Sales to keep campaign assets and deadlines moving
  • Pull monthly marketing numbers and turn them into clear, useful summaries
  • Research events, vendors, audience opportunities, and campaign ideas and share recommendations
  • Keep calendars, checklists, systems, and details organized while managing multiple priorities
  • Partner with the Director of Creative and Marketing to carry campaigns through planning, launch, and follow-up
  • Collaborate with sales and company leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
  • In lieu of a degree, at least five years of progressively responsible experience in event marketing, content marketing, campaign management, or digital marketing will be considered
  • Demonstrated expertise in planning and executing events and integrated marketing campaigns
  • Experience coordinating conferences, trade shows, webinars, or similar marketing events
  • Experience building and scheduling email campaigns
  • Experience maintaining audience lists or segments
  • Experience working with marketing automation workflows
  • Strong copywriting, editing, project management, and organizational skills
  • Experience compiling campaign, event, email, social, or website performance metrics into clear reports
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with CRM, marketing automation, webinar, event, or social publishing platforms
  • Ability to lift event props and materials up to 25 lbs
  • Highly organized and dependable
  • Proactive and quick to anticipate what needs to happen next
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Detail-oriented and committed to thorough quality checks and follow-through
  • Comfortable using CRM, marketing automation, email, webinar, event, social, and reporting tools
  • Able to identify meaningful metrics, recognize patterns, and clearly summarize key insights for leadership
  • Resourceful and composed when plans shift or execution challenges arise
  • Collaborative and adept at coordinating teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights or a similar CRM and marketing automation platform preferred
  • Familiarity with higher education, HR technology, or B2B software marketing preferred
  • Experience with lead nurturing, audience segmentation, website content management, campaign reporting, and familiarity with SEO and AI-driven search and discovery best practices preferred
  • Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive marketing and event practices preferred
