About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct investigations of auto, property, liability, and workers’ compensation claims
- Review assignments, supporting documentation, and case information before on-site assignments
- Consult with the Manager on appropriate case strategies before and throughout the investigative process
- Locate subjects and conduct assigned investigations, including recorded statements and scene investigations
- Create and maintain daily updates, supporting photos, audiotapes, diagrams, and final investigative reports
- Conduct daily travel within the investigator’s area or territory
- Conduct proactive follow-ups as needed
- Handle confidential information and material
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 years investigative experience required
- 3 years claims investigative experience preferred
- Bilingual skills a plus
- Private Investigator License required in most states
- Meet state-mandated requirements to obtain and maintain a Private Investigator license in multiple states
- Full comprehension of case management systems
- Ability to proactively conduct follow-ups as needed
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in computer technology, including Microsoft Office-type products and email
- Ability to produce quality, well-written reports
- Self-starter with disciplined work ethic and ability to ask relevant questions when needed
- Ability to work independently
- Daily access to a reliable vehicle
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to provide MVR (driving record)
- Pass drug screen
