About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and support the PT, OT and SLP rehabilitation team
  • Oversee daily therapy department operations
  • Coordinate staffing and patient caseloads
  • Promote strong communication and teamwork among clinicians
  • Collaborate with facility administration, nursing and interdisciplinary leadership
  • Support quality clinical care and positive resident outcomes
  • Monitor documentation, regulatory compliance and operational expectations
  • Identify staffing needs and partner with Recruitment when openings arise
  • Onboard, support and develop rehabilitation team members
  • Address day-to-day department challenges and find solutions
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents, families and facility partners
  • Provide patient care within COTA or PTA scope of practice as appropriate
  • Help create a department where clinicians feel supported, valued and accountable

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current Pennsylvania COTA or PTA license
  • Rehabilitation experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate and support a multidisciplinary rehab team
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Understanding of rehabilitation documentation and clinical operations
  • Collaborative approach with facility and interdisciplinary leadership
  • Commitment to resident-centered care
  • Previous DOR, management, supervisory or leadership experience is preferred, but strong leadership potential will also be considered
