About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Evaluate and treat individuals with varied mobility and functional needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and functional goals
  • Address strength, balance, endurance and mobility
  • Provide gait and transfer training
  • Improve safety and reduce fall risk
  • Provide therapeutic exercise and functional activities
  • Recommend and train patients in appropriate assistive devices
  • Educate patients, families and caregivers
  • Collaborate with PTAs and the interdisciplinary care team
  • Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Provide weekday PRN coverage at Indian Lake Rehabilitation Center

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current or eligible Ohio Physical Therapist license
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Patient-centered approach to rehabilitation
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
  • Dependable availability for agreed-upon PRN coverage
  • Skilled nursing or geriatric experience is a plus, but not required
  • Compassionate, dependable and clinically driven
  • Experienced and newer Physical Therapists welcome
