About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct speech, language and cognitive-communication evaluations and treatment
  • Perform dysphagia and swallowing assessments and interventions
  • Develop individualized, functional treatment plans
  • Educate patients, families and caregivers
  • Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing and other interdisciplinary team members
  • Document evaluations, treatments, progress and discharge recommendations
  • Provide weekday and weekend PRN coverage in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure
  • CCC-SLP preferred
  • Experience with adult/geriatric populations, skilled nursing, dysphagia or cognitive-communication treatment is a plus
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Collaborative, patient-first approach to care
