About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide speech, language and cognitive-communication evaluations and treatment
- Conduct dysphagia and swallowing assessments and interventions
- Develop individualized, functional treatment plans
- Provide cognitive-linguistic treatment
- Educate patients, families and caregivers
- Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing and other interdisciplinary team members
- Document evaluations, treatments, progress and discharge recommendations
- Provide PRN coverage as needed for adult and geriatric rehabilitation patients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure
- CCC-SLP preferred
- Experience with adult or geriatric populations is a plus
- Skilled nursing, dysphagia and cognitive-communication experience is a plus
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative, patient-first approach to care
