About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Draft and negotiate all lease-related legal documents (commercial leases, lease renewals, agreements, amendments, etc.)
  • Manage and monitor litigation and insolvency proceedings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Leasing, Property Management, and Centre Management teams
  • Ensure that current standard templates are updated in line with legislative and regulatory developments
  • Support and respond to requests from internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee and monitor litigation and insolvency proceedings
  • Provide property owners with accurate reporting through tracking tools
  • Work with notaries to update co-ownership regulations and the bylaws of AFULs and ASLs
  • Support the Head of Legal on related matters
  • Contribute to the development of working tools and internal procedures
  • Establish and implement processes
  • Monitor legislative, regulatory, and case-law developments
  • Lead internal training sessions
  • Implement the Group's CSR strategy and propose environmental initiatives
  • Demonstrate exemplary ethical conduct

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Open to all genders; at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, gained either in-house or at a law firm in the commercial real estate sector
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Real Estate Law
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent drafting skills
  • Strong analytical and summarizing skills, together with a team-oriented mindset
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, and able to make proactive recommendations
