About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a senior technical resource and technical advisor for the team
- Provide specialized technical input to studies and design in the area of expertise
- Develop study and design procedures for high-quality, cost-effective work
- Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables
- Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts
- Complete the discipline component of PS&E packages
- Perform quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings
- Prepare technical specification sections
- Contribute to engineering budgets and schedules
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/BA in Civil Engineering, Planning, or related field and 6 years of related experience and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Experience in transportation engineering or planning TDOT projects
- Experience as a task leader for transportation DOT projects
- Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future
- Must attend in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
