About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support AECOM's West Region by recruiting talent across business lines
Manage full life-cycle recruitment, including search strategies, sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, candidate presentation, offer negotiation, hiring, and onboarding
Consult with hiring managers on hiring strategies, recruitment timing, coaching, best practices, and sourcing trends
Develop, recommend, and execute recruitment strategies with decision makers
Network proactively with industry experts and professional associations to build passive candidate networks
Build relationships and communicate consistently throughout the recruitment process
Ensure all hiring participants remain updated and informed
Create a positive candidate experience for selected and non-selected candidates
Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of full-life-cycle recruiting experience for architecture, engineering, and/or construction firms, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
12+ years of relevant experience with Architecture, Engineering, and/or Construction firms preferred
Experience with relevant roles including Mining, Environmental, Environmental Permitting & Planning, Engineering, and Engineering Project Managers preferred
Experience working for a large multinational, matrixed organization preferred
Experience utilizing Workday, SmartRecruiters Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and HireEZ preferred
Strong sourcing and networking skills
Experience maintaining confidential and sensitive information
Proven ability to make decisions based on sound judgment
Experience working with geographically dispersed, virtual teams
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to change recruitment direction and priorities based on changing critical needs
Ability to work in a demanding, dynamic, and evolving work culture
Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
Ability to make cold calls
Must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship for US work authorization is not available now or in the future
