About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, create, and maintain business automation and intelligence tools and their supporting data structures
  • Transform data and automate processes, primarily for environmental, health, and safety requirements
  • Understand client data needs and collaborate with subject-matter experts and coworkers to meet them
  • Plan implementation steps and estimate effort and schedules for client requirements
  • Articulate technical challenges and proposed solutions to non-technical decision makers
  • Query databases and use APIs to obtain data
  • Suggest innovative solutions for client requirements
  • Lead the success of small solution-development projects or development tasks within larger projects
  • Initiate contact with mentors and coworkers to resolve problems and questions
  • Proactively engage with coworkers and clients worldwide
  • Work with multiple clients and accurately allocate time to projects
  • Attend occasional client meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS in Information Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related degree + 4 years of experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Experience designing and building process-automation solutions, including PowerApps or competitive platforms
  • Experience designing and building dashboards
  • Working understanding of relational databases
  • US citizenship required
  • Experience with Power Platform, including Canvas Power Apps, Model-Driven Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Portals, and Microsoft 365 services
  • Understanding of ETL processes, database design, and object-oriented programming
  • SharePoint development experience
  • Web development experience
  • JavaScript knowledge
  • SQL database exposure
  • Exposure to Azure services
  • Basic coding experience with Python, C#, HTML5, JavaScript, Node.JS, and React
  • Experience with Esri ArcGIS solutions, including ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise, spatial data, and GIS data integration with enterprise systems
  • Ability to work in self-directed and team-based collaboration scenarios
  • Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to accurately allocate daily time worked to appropriate projects
  • Ability to work with multiple clients simultaneously
  • Occasional travel to client meetings required
