About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and implement scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions on AWS
Lead the architecture and development of serverless applications using C#, .NET, and AWS DynamoDB
Design microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs
Provide architectural guidance for front-end applications built with Angular, React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
Develop and execute cloud adoption strategies and technical roadmaps
Establish architecture standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure software quality
Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across agile teams
Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-assisted software development tools

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or Software Architect on software development projects (7+ years with a one-year certificate)
3+ years of architecture experience using C#, .NET, AWS DynamoDB (NoSQL), and Visual Studio Code
3+ years of experience architecting and developing applications on AWS
3+ years of hands-on experience developing, building, testing, and deploying applications using Angular 2+ and/or React
Strong understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, REST APIs, and modern software development practices
Experience providing technical leadership within agile development teams
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Currently based in Canada and legally authorized to work in Canada
Valid LinkedIn profile with updated profile picture
