About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and execute manual and automated testing activities
- Define and create functional test scenarios, regression tests, negative tests, and usability tests
- Participate in developing test automation frameworks and solutions across the technology stack
- Work with Product, Design, and Engineering teams on requirements gathering and evaluation
- Establish manual testing and automation goals for new and existing features
- Participate in product design reviews and provide input on functional requirements, designs, estimates, schedules, and risks
- Use Claude Code to accelerate test authoring, debug pipeline failures, and maintain test frameworks
- Contribute to AI-assisted testing by leveraging custom AI commands and optimizing prompts
- Use generative AI and LLMs to write test cases, automated testing scripts, and optimize test infrastructure
- Champion quality throughout the development process
- Investigate customer-facing issues with Customer Success and drive them to closure
- Perform production post-deployment validations and coordinate hotfix deployments
- Promote solution-oriented ownership, resilience, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across QA
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with manual and automated testing activities
- Experience defining test scenarios, regression tests, negative tests, and usability tests
- Experience participating in test automation framework and solution development
- Experience gathering and evaluating requirements with Product, Design, and Engineering teams
- Experience establishing manual testing and automation goals
- Experience participating in product design reviews and assessing risks, estimates, and schedules
- Experience using Claude Code in engineering workflows
- Experience with AI-assisted testing, custom AI commands, and prompt optimization
- Experience using generative AI and LLMs to author test cases and automated testing scripts
- Experience investigating customer-facing issues and coordinating hotfixes
- Ability to mentor junior QA engineers
