About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and execute manual and automated testing activities
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software products
- Own test planning, design, and execution
- Mentor junior QA engineers
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks and practices
- Analyze risks and define test strategies
- Automate critical test scenarios
- Manage defect resolution and support product releases
- Work with Product, Design, and Engineering teams on requirements gathering and evaluation
- Participate in product design reviews
- Utilize Claude Code to accelerate test authoring, debug pipeline failures, and maintain test frameworks
- Contribute to AI-assisted testing capabilities using custom AI commands, optimized prompts, generative AI, and LLMs
- Champion quality throughout the development process
- Investigate customer-facing issues with Customer Success and drive them to closure
- Perform production post-deployment validations and coordinate hotfix deployments
- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across the QA department
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of experience in defining and developing functional test scenarios, regression tests, negative test cases, and usability tests
- Experience participating in the design and development of test automation frameworks and solutions across the entire stack
- Experience with requirements gathering and evaluation
- Experience establishing goals for manual testing and automation for new and existing features
- Experience providing input on functional requirements, product designs, test estimates, schedules, and potential risks
- Experience utilizing Claude Code in daily engineering workflows
- Experience leveraging custom AI commands and optimizing prompts for AI-assisted testing
- Experience using generative AI and LLMs to author test cases, write automated testing scripts, and optimize test infrastructure
- Ability to investigate customer-facing issues and drive issues to closure
- Ability to perform production post-deployment validations and coordinate hotfix deployments
- Proactive ownership, solution-oriented mindset, resilience, collaboration, and knowledge sharing
