About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate quarterly and annual SEC filings
  • Lead preparation of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other SEC filings
  • Consolidate financial information and supporting schedules required for SEC reporting
  • Prepare and review tie-outs, disclosure checklists, and supporting documentation
  • Monitor and implement new U.S. GAAP, SEC, and regulatory requirements
  • Update accounting and disclosure policies as needed
  • Support earnings releases, investor presentations, and board reporting materials
  • Research and document technical accounting matters
  • Operate and document internal controls execution
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce close and reporting cycle times
  • Partner with IT, Accounting, and FP&A to optimize ERP and consolidation/reporting tools
  • Standardize templates and workflows for consistent, scalable reporting
  • Collaborate with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Investor Relations, Tax, Legal, business segment finance teams, and auditors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • CPA
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 10 years of accounting/finance experience, including SEC reporting
  • Experience preparing or reviewing Forms 10-K and 10-Q
  • Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
  • Experience with internal controls over financial reporting (SOX)
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion and ERP reporting tools
  • Excel skills
  • Applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR/EAR or be eligible for an export license
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to work in an office environment
  • Prior experience in Aerospace & Defense or Technology industry preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
