About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop detailed pricing models for proposals, task orders, and contract modifications
  • Collaborate with the Estimating Lead on BOEs and review cost estimates
  • Prepare compliant cost volumes and proposal documentation
  • Conduct labor rate, material, subcontractor, and ODC pricing
  • Ensure pricing submissions comply with FAR/DFARS, CAS, DCAA/DCMA guidelines, and internal policies
  • Perform sensitivity analyses, what-if scenarios, and risk assessments
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for reviews and fact-finding
  • Build and maintain cost models incorporating direct labor, indirect rates, escalation, and subcontractor/vendor inputs
  • Support price-to-win analysis and competitive assessments
  • Provide management with pricing recommendations and data-driven insights
  • Collaborate with capture, contracts, program management, and finance teams
  • Prepare pricing packages and presentations for internal reviews and approvals
  • Mentor junior pricing analysts and share estimating best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of pricing/estimating experience in federal contracting
  • Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and government proposal processes
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience with pricing tools such as ProPricer (preferred)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of federal pricing and compliance requirements
  • Ability to interpret solicitation requirements and translate them into compliant cost proposals
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial modeling
  • Professional integrity and commitment to ethical pricing practices
  • Must qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR/EAR or be eligible for export-license approval
  • U.S. Citizenship required
