About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the senior subcontracts team in managing procurement and subcontracting activities for government and commercial programs
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance
  • Provide cradle-to-grave administrative support for preparing, issuing, and managing RFPs and subcontract agreements
  • Track subcontractor and internal deliverables for compliance with contract terms, schedules, and budgets
  • Maintain and update procurement files and documentation
  • Support invoice review and reconciliation, coordinating with internal teams and subcontractors
  • Participate in subcontract negotiations alongside senior staff to develop terms and conditions
  • Prepare reports, metrics, and presentations to support team objectives and decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address subcontractor issues and support program needs
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by senior subcontracts administrators and management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in procurement, subcontracts, or supply chain management
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of procurement and government contracting principles (FAR/DFARS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS subcontracts principles
  • Experience in Manufacturing operations
  • Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to work in an office environment
  • Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard
  • U.S. person under ITAR/EAR requirements, or eligible for approval of an export license
