About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead member care alongside counselors, therapists, peer support specialists, and case managers
Provide evidence-based treatment for individuals with substance use disorders
Conduct initial and follow-up telehealth evaluations
Deliver care for substance use
Prescribe medications as appropriate and answer member questions
Complete documentation in the Healthie EHR
Collaborate with the care team
Attend occasional scheduled team meetings
Participate in periodic meetings with internal teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active and verifiable FNP license in the state(s) where you practice, and in Ohio if your state of residence is not Ohio
Active, unrestricted Ohio license
At least 2 years of experience, ideally in addiction; relevant previous experience may be considered for those with less than 2 years as an FNP
Experience prescribing Suboxone
Active DEA registration
Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure
Empathy for members facing behavioral health challenges
Comfort using technology, including EHRs and mobile apps
Quiet, private office with reliable internet connection for HIPAA-compliant telehealth visits
