Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct initial and follow-up telehealth evaluations
Deliver care for substance use and mental health conditions
Prescribe medications as appropriate and answer member questions
Complete documentation in the Healthie EHR
Collaborate with counselors, therapists, case managers, and the broader care team
Attend occasional scheduled team meetings
Provide evidence-based treatment for individuals with substance use disorders and mental health disorders
Make medication decisions at the provider’s discretion in collaboration with members
Do not prescribe controlled substances other than Suboxone for opioid use disorder

What you’ll need

Must hold an active, unrestricted license in Oregon
Active and verifiable PMHNP license in the state(s) where you practice, and in your state of residence if it is not Oregon
At least 2 years of experience, ideally in addiction or mental health treatment; relevant previous experience may be considered for those with less than 2 years as a PMHNP
Experience prescribing Suboxone
Active DEA registration
Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure
Medicaid enrollment is a plus
Empathy for members facing behavioral health challenges
Comfort using technology, including EHRs and mobile apps
Quiet, private office with a reliable internet connection for HIPAA-compliant telehealth visits
