Manage a team of machine learning engineers building models for credit lending decisions across Europe and Australia
Set the team's technical strategy and connect engineers' work to business-impacting underwriting projects
Define and advocate for technical solutions and operational processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's in a technical field
8+ years of industry experience
3+ years managing engineers
Background in financial services, specifically in credit / lending
Proficiency in machine learning, including tree-based models, transformers, deep learning, and agentic ML
Strong engineering skills
Ability to provide hands-on technical leadership while working with code and architecture
Ability to work from low-level language idioms through architecture of large systems
