About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and grow a high-performing product management team of 6–10 product managers, including people managers
- Build, mentor, and manage PMs; set standards, create development paths, and cultivate ownership, rigor, and candor
- Own the vision and multi-year strategy for Loans Lifecycle and Money Movement
- Define roadmaps and execution decisions for scalable, compliant loan systems and global money movement infrastructure
- Serve as executive-level subject matter expert on loan lifecycle mechanics, payment rails, settlement flows, and institutional transfers
- Partner with Engineering, Accounting, Treasury, Capital Markets, Legal, Compliance, and Client Success
- Drive cross-functional alignment and balance competing stakeholder needs
- Architect platform strategies supporting standardized loan behaviors, international expansion, new geographies, and product lines
- Define and improve platform health metrics, including settlement success rates, reconciliation coverage, exception volumes, and time-to-resolution
- Present strategy, tradeoffs, and priorities to senior leadership and shape investment decisions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 15+ years of product management experience
- 3–5 years managing and developing PM teams, including people managers
- Deep experience in loans or lending systems
- Understanding of loan lifecycle mechanics and loan-servicing platform architecture
- Knowledge of compliance and operational requirements for lending systems
- Meaningful experience in money movement, payments infrastructure, or financial operations
- Fluency in payment rails, settlement flows, cross-border transfers, and reliability and accuracy standards
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or banking
- Familiarity with BNPL, platform products, or backend infrastructure strongly preferred
- Capital markets background is a plus
- Ability to set and execute long-term platform strategy in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Strong technical fluency, including data models and API discussions
- Proficiency with AI-assisted tools such as Claude and Cursor
- Experience building and scaling distributed, high-performing PM teams across multiple domains
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
