Collaborate with teammates, product management, design and analytics on ideation, technical constraints, risks and trade-offs
Create and monitor metrics for team artifacts
Escalate operational issues and support keep-the-lights-on and on-call efforts
Participate in growth and development activities, including interviews
Contribute to web applications and scalable APIs for Affirm’s Ads Platform and personalized Marketplace

Requirements

What you’ll need

1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer
Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React
Experience designing, developing and launching APIs at scale using languages like Python or Kotlin
Ability to turn simple problems or business scenarios into solutions interacting with multiple software components
Ability to write clear, well-tested and extensible code
Comfort navigating a large code base and debugging others' code
Experience providing feedback through code reviews
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Either equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
