Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics during ideation and product development
Articulate technical constraints and partner on decisions involving risks and trade-offs
Create and monitor metrics for team artifacts
Escalate operational issues when needed
Support keep-the-lights-on and on-call efforts
Participate in growth and development activities, including the interview process

Requirements

What you’ll need

1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer
Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems
Proficiency in Python or Kotlin
Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue
Experience developing and architecting mobile applications is a bonus, preferably using React Native
Comfortable navigating a large code base
Ability to debug others' code
Experience providing feedback through code reviews
Ability to turn business scenarios into solutions interacting with multiple software components
Ability to write clear, well-tested, extensible code
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate with a global engineering team
