Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience researching, designing, deploying, and operating large-scale, real-time machine learning systems; a relevant PhD can count for up to 2 years of experience
Strong Python skills and experience writing production-quality code
Experience building and evaluating models for tabular classification problems
Experience with gradient-boosted decision trees such as LightGBM/XGBoost
Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch
Experience with distributed data processing or parallel compute frameworks such as Spark or Ray
Experience with ML lifecycle tooling for training orchestration, experimentation, and model monitoring, such as Kubeflow, Airflow, or MLflow
Proficiency using AI-powered developer tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor
Strong engineering skills and ability to provide hands-on technical leadership
Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team
