About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the vision and roadmap for Affirm’s consumer loyalty program across multiple quarters
  • Define hypotheses, success metrics, and sequencing
  • Launch rewards and tiers, including earn mechanics, member benefits, redemption, and in-app, checkout, and post-purchase experiences
  • Build engagement loops using progress, milestones, and personalized offers
  • Own program economics, including reward liability, funding mix, incentives, incremental GMV, and cost per member
  • Establish loyalty measurement through holdouts, incrementality testing, and long-run LTV
  • Optimize earn and burn rates and tier thresholds based on data
  • Partner with Risk, Credit, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Marketing to create compliant, clearly disclosed rewards
  • Align senior stakeholders and coordinate dependencies across Card, Shopping, Servicing, and Marketing
  • Lead embedded engineering and design pods through ambiguity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years in Product Management
  • Track record in consumer mobile apps, fintech, or neobanks
  • Built or scaled a loyalty, rewards, or engagement program
  • Knowledge of earn and burn mechanics and program economics
  • History of launching products from scratch
  • Experience owning repeat usage, cohort retention, or share of wallet as a primary metric
  • Ability to build and defend financial models covering reward cost, funding mix, and payback
  • Strong UX instincts and high design standards
  • Fluency in experiment design, incrementality/attribution, and LTV measurement
  • Data skills including SQL and Amplitude-level self-service
  • Track record shipping consumer financial or regulated products
  • Comfort partnering with Risk/Credit, Legal, and Compliance
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and experience leading without authority
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor for research, analysis, prototyping, and product vision
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
