About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor internal systems and identify partial or complete outages
- Notify relevant stakeholders about incidents and outages through internal communication tools, ensuring that the appropriate teams are engaged to assess impacts and define the necessary actions
- Respond to system outages by using monitoring and virtualization tools to support incident identification and resolution
- Analyze recurring alerts to identify opportunities for improvement and prevent future incidents
- Create, record, and route incident tickets to the responsible teams, following up on their resolution
- Prepare and distribute communications regarding crises, incidents, and outages, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and resolution
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Intermediate English proficiency
- Knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, AWS, and VMware
- Knowledge of Zabbix, Grafana, and scripting
- Basic programming knowledge
- Cisco, AWS, or Microsoft certifications are a plus
