About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a small, skilled team providing service and support across infrastructure management, user support, ERP/application development, business intelligence and IT Security
  • Directly manage IT staff in US and EU locations
  • Interview, hire, train, assign, direct, appraise, reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve issues
  • Oversee the design, development, security and maintenance of global IT systems, software and support services
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term IT business plans aligned with strategic and fiscal goals
  • Own and maintain the global IT budget
  • Engage the business to leverage technology for resolving and enhancing business issues
  • Maintain IT and Cybersecurity policies and frameworks and own the vulnerability management program
  • Improve and refine the global IT service catalog
  • Maintain Incident Response and Disaster Recovery plans and procedures
  • Provide senior leadership updates on IT/Cybersecurity framework adherence, regulatory compliance and related activities
  • Own the IT Change Management process
  • Monitor emerging technologies, Cybersecurity threats and compliance requirements
  • Manage Technology and IT Security vendor relationships, systems licensing and maintenance contracts
  • Foster collaboration, innovation and consistency between US and European plants
  • Remain accessible by phone and email outside work hours as needed
  • Follow safety policies and report accidents or unsafe conditions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S) or equivalent in Information Technology, Business, or related field
  • 8-10 years of progressive IT experience
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience implementing and managing ITIL, NIST and CIS frameworks
  • Experience working in multi-country/international application or technology deployments preferred
  • Strong budget management and fiscal planning/reporting capabilities
  • Broad understanding of virtualization, storage and networking technologies
  • Knowledge of next generation firewalls and OT network segmentation
  • Experience with global ERP systems, support and development preferred
  • Ability to acquire and maintain the requisite travel authorizations to visit the Czech Republic
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments at once and communicate effectively within all levels of the organization
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
