About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain systems that keep gameplay smooth and consistent across clients
  • Support backend systems for player authentication and game connections to backend services
  • Assist with dev ops work, including spinning up and maintaining game servers
  • Carry work from the connection process into a matchmaking server through the complete flow into the game-side experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–6 years of experience with online or networked systems; working in the games industry is a plus
  • Familiarity with dev ops fundamentals like server provisioning and management
  • Exposure to matchmaking systems is a plus
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be based in Raleigh, NC
  • Availability for a hybrid work schedule
