About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, negotiate, and administer assigned NDAs, TAs, subcontracts, and related agreements
  • Participate in the capture process, including pricing and scheduling strategy
  • Communicate with subcontractor teammates regarding data calls and assess responses
  • Coordinate communications between subcontract stakeholders
  • Process subcontract negotiations for fair and reasonable pricing, terms, and conditions
  • Serve as liaison between program team and subcontractor on contracting issues
  • Escalate potential issues to management
  • Coordinate with program managers and matrixed organizations to fulfill subcontract requirements
  • Maintain current knowledge of subcontract procedures and practices
  • Provide guidance and/or task leadership to less-experienced subcontract administrators
  • Participate in or manage special projects as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience with subcontract/contract administration or supply chain contracts in a regulated environment
  • Excellent communication and writing skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze contract language and provide summaries to senior staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Access or SharePoint a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned subcontracts, including FAR and DFAR
  • Ability to operate and negotiate independently
