About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the technical authority for networks and infrastructure.
Define and evolve enterprise, data center, and cloud network architectures.
Lead strategic infrastructure, connectivity, and technology modernization projects.
Design, implement, and manage LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, load balancer, and IP telephony environments.
Define strategies for high availability, resilience, and service recovery.
Implement and maintain network security architectures, including NGFW, VPN, NAC, IPS/IDS, and Zero Trust.
Design and manage connectivity for hybrid and multicloud environments.
Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolve critical incidents.
Drive automation, observability, and continuous improvement through IaC, Python, and Terraform.
Serve as a technical authority for internal teams, projects, and vendors.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience with highly complex networks and infrastructure.
Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, QoS, MPLS, IPv4, and IPv6.
Experience with OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, VRFs, and SD-WAN.
Experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco Security, or Check Point.
Knowledge of NAC, WAF, IDS/IPS, VPN, and Zero Trust architectures.
Experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
Experience with enterprise load-balancing solutions.
Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
Certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security, Fortinet FCSS/NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty, Azure Network Engineer Associate, and ITIL Foundation are desirable.
Preferred qualifications: experience in telecommunications and Internet Service Providers (ISPs); knowledge of peering, IP transit, and DDoS attack mitigation; experience with SDN, SD-WAN, and Network as Code; knowledge of NetDevOps, network automation, Zero Trust, and security incident response.
