Develop detailed construction estimates using HeavyBid software
Perform takeoffs using Civil 3D and AgTech/screen takeoff tools
Create thought-driven estimates with custom unit pricing rather than template-based green sheets
Estimate heavy civil projects including earthwork, grading, underground utilities, and light structural work
Support business scaling and project growth
Work directly with company leadership on estimating strategy
Collaborate hands-on and contribute strategic problem-solving
Provide accurate estimates based on construction methodology

Requirements

What you’ll need

8–18+ years of estimating experience, specifically in heavy civil/earthwork
Fluent English speaker with professional communication skills
Bachelor's degree holder
Prior experience working with the U.S. market (domestic or remote)
Senior or mid-level mindset with independent problem-solving ability
Located in Latin America or Central America
HeavyBid software knowledge or Bid to Win experience
Earthwork/heavy civil construction background
Ability to work full-time, remotely, on U.S. Mountain Time
Portfolio or references showing complex earthwork/civil project estimates
Ability to think critically about estimates rather than mechanically applying unit prices
Ability to work as an independent contractor is requested/considered
Resume must be formatted in English
