About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own and continuously improve the Configuration Management process
Ensure Configuration Item records remain accurate, complete, and up to date throughout their lifecycle
Manage, maintain, and enhance the Configuration Management Database, including data structures, standards, and governance controls
Support Change Management by ensuring configuration data is available, accurate, and aligned with approved changes
Conduct configuration audits and verification activities to ensure compliance and data accuracy
Monitor and improve data integrity and quality across configuration and asset records
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, business units, vendors, and service providers to maintain accurate configuration information
Validate and reconcile managed Configuration Items with Agfa business units
Ensure timely tracking and return of leased devices to leasing companies
Produce governance reports, metrics, and compliance reporting related to configuration and asset management
Manage configuration-related escalations and ensure timely resolution
Act as backup for the Change Manager when required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field
Proven experience in Configuration Management, Asset Management, IT Service Management, or IT Operations
Strong understanding of Configuration Management principles, CMDB governance, and IT asset lifecycle management
Experience working with CMDB platforms and asset management solutions
Solid understanding of IT Service Management processes, including Change, Incident, and Problem Management
Experience working in outsourced IT environments and collaborating with external service providers
Strong reporting, data governance, and process management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination capabilities
ITIL Foundation certification or comparable IT Service Management certification is considered an asset
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong coordination and organizational skills
Structured and process-driven mindset
Understanding of data quality, governance, and compliance principles
Proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellence
