About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze transaction data to identify fraud patterns, anomalies, and emerging risks
  • Monitor fraud and payment metrics, including fraud rate, chargeback rate, and approval rate
  • Investigate fraud incidents ranging from individual cases to large-scale coordinated attacks
  • Build dashboards and reports for real-time fraud monitoring and decision-making
  • Evaluate fraud controls and contribute to developing and optimizing detection models
  • Automate fraud detection, monitoring, and investigation workflows
  • Partner with Engineering, Payments, and Operations teams on fraud-related issues and risk management processes
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations for incident response and fraud prevention initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in fraud, risk, payments, or data analytics
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience working with large transactional datasets
  • Ability to identify patterns, investigate anomalies, and derive actionable insights
  • Experience using AI tools for analysis and automation
  • Python preferred
  • Fintech or gaming experience preferred
