Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software in an agile development environment
Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
Troubleshoot issues or problems related to software applications
Understand, learn, and apply emerging automated build, test, and deployment capabilities
Help develop project teams toward integrating automated build, test, and deployment solutions
Make informed decisions and develop solutions to daily tasks based on past experience
Mentor and guide less-experienced team members
Address problems identified with system integration and capability during testing and implementation
Consult with project teams and end users to identify software requirements
Assist in evaluating and recommending application software packages and application integration and testing tools
Resolve software issues and problems and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
Participate in developing software documentation such as training and user manuals

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 1 year of Java and Python agile software development experience, including related tools and frameworks
Must be a U.S. citizen
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in computer science, computer engineering, or closely related field preferred; or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Experience with JavaScript, C#, and .net preferred or a plus
Knowledge of Agile scrum and Spring
Ability to lead and work well within a team
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with Docker and cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations of time
Must be able to continuously operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
