About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the accounting aspects of client engagements from start to finish
Manage a portfolio primarily consisting of small and medium-sized businesses across a range of industries
Review accounts and ensure the reliability of financial data
Prepare annual financial statements and tax returns in compliance with legal requirements and deadlines
Present annual financial statements and analyze clients’ economic and financial position
Advise business leaders on management, taxation, and business performance management
Monitor, retain, and grow the client portfolio
Recommend appropriate additional services
Prepare dashboards, forecasts, financial analyses, and business valuations
Make regular visits to member clients

Requirements

What you’ll need

Higher education degree in accounting
3 to 5 years of experience in an accounting firm or a similar environment
Strong knowledge of account review and accounting production
Ability to prepare annual financial statements and tax returns
Skills in management consulting, taxation, and business performance management
Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills
Ability to understand business leaders’ challenges and guide them in their decision-making
